A fixed wide-angle lens keeps a little more of the story in the frame. A short optical path and a seven-blade iris shape how the light arrives, so the picture feels considered rather than processed.
02 / THE HEART OF THE IMAGE
Behind the glass, an APS-C sensor turns light into an image. The carrier, electronics and rear controls are laid out with as much care as the front, because the picture is only half the instrument.
